How Does Online Counseling Work and What are the Guidelines ?

Once intake paperwork is complete and an appointment is set you will receive a link to our HIPAA complaint platform for your appointment.
You can connect using a smartphone, ipad or computer. Internet connection is also needed.
Yes. The platform used is HIPAA compliant through software known as Simple Practice. A time sensitive link is sent to the client(s) involved prior to each session.
Yes, research shows that counseling provided through electronic video is highly effective and often preferred by clients. Benefits noted are: convenience of no commute time to appointments, more flexible scheduling options, and easy access to sessions when clients are away from home on business or personal travel.
A 50 minute session is $150. Payable via credit or debit card at the time of service. A 24- hour notice is required to avoid full fee charge. See next tab for details our on cancellation policy.
A 24-hour notice is required for all sessions. Notice can be sent via email. Full fee of $150 will be charged for no shows or cancellations with less than 24 hour notice.
No. We do not process any insurance claims, however, we can provide a Superbill for client(s) to self-file for any reimbursements their insurance policy may allow. We would be considered an “out of network” provider. All services are to be paid for in full on the day of the appointment with a debit or credit card held on file.
No. The HIPPA compliant software used does not record the sessions. The software simply provides a confidential connection for us to meet electronically.
Yes. At this time Christy is only avaliable for Telehealth/Virtual sessions.
